Another great column! (Although I, myself, did like the movie - but I admit I didn't read the book, which sounds totally different. If I had read the book I may have been equally disappointed.)

The last time I saw a Brad Pitt epic (TROY), I was so disgusted that I've given them all a pass, ever since.

Ray - I just loved the book but I know it's not for everyone. The book takes place 10 or 15 years after the zombie war and it's a history book. The interviewer talks to people who were there and played a part in the outcome of the war. I think it's your type of read but I could be wrong.

Jessie - you and I discussed our love of 12 Monkeys but I forgot SE7EN. I rather liked Pitt in that too - although Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey AND Fincher's grand direction are the REAL reasons to see the film

I couldn't get into the books and thought the movie was a mess.
