I just finished J. Kent Hastings' The Lone Writer Theory http://www.mondocult.com/articles/Ides/lonewriter.html I enjoyed it quite a lot.

SPOILER ALERT:

The article contains the line; "How likely is it that Stephen King saw “Profile In Silver”?".

Very likely, seeing as Mr. King's story "Gramma" was adapted for the series by Harlan Ellison and, if memory serves, it aired three weeks before "Profile In Silver".  So I'm going to take a good guess that King saw most, if not all, of that season.
