I've now got the most essential ones, namely Revolver, Abbey Road, White Album and Sgt Peppers. I'm no audiophile and couldn't tell a mid-range from a big-end, but I reckon they sound a lot better. Some tracks really stand out such as Mr Kite, Revolution #1...

Having said that I spent a two hour car journey playing the white album and boring the wife with how amazing the difference was and that you could hear new harmonies and sounds... only to discover later that id been playing the standard version. I havent told her, of course.

Being the Beatles fanatic I am, I had to have all of them - that is, both the STEREO and the MONO editions. In the case of the MONOs, they really ripped us off, price-wise. But they knew diehards would pay, and a lot of us did!
